I figured it was going to be hard topping last week’s podcast, so I decided #51 should be fast and loose and dig deep into the mailbag. Some great stories and song suggestions explored as well as a few choice moments from tours past to get you ready for the shows next week. We also continue to push the envelope into new interactive territory with the first ever Skype interview.
There is a lot on the immediate horizon to excite the Pearl Jam fan and I appreciate anyone and everyone spending some time each week with this here unofficial podcast. I am beyond stoked to realize that we are about to celebrate the one year anniversary of this experiment and I hope to build some anticipation.

how do you download these podcasts, can't find a way
You can subscribe via iTunes by clicking the button on the top right. The RSS feed only goes back to the last 25 or so. If you want the earlier ones or if you just want the mp3 file, you can also download directly from the site for each episode. The title for each post is a link to the mp3. So for example, right-click "all that's sacred #51" above and choose "Save Link As..." and you should be good to go. First off Donny..I have to say that #51 artwork is gorgeous! (of course you know how partial I am to EV :) )
And as usual...the podcast ROCKS! The Improv is lovely and Daughter/It's OK is freakin' fantastic! We can only hope for a version/tag like that on the East Coast this year! Kicking Crown of Thorns and one of my fav versions of Not For You!(sits just 2..me and Beth..) And of course ALL THAT'S SACRED Comes From Youth! And you had low expectations? No way man :)
Adding to all this, putting up your little interview with Mike makes this week really crazy :)

Jesus ... 51 episodes? Great work Donny. I remember you started up just as i realised PJ were touring Australia and the early eps were a great way to get ready for their tour.
