As promised, episode #36 explores Eddie Vedder’s contributions to movie soundtracks – the most notable, of course, being Into The Wild. A few covers and collaborations and a bunch of originals comprise a solo body of work that ranges from serious and reflective to determined and whimsical. All in all, it’s a fascinating look at our favorite front man exploring new musical territory outside the framework of the band.
Next week I plan to catch up on some listener requests and suggestions as I get back into the swing of things after my brief trip back down south. I’ve already got more than enough suggested material to fill the podcast but if you have something to contribute for a future show, please contact me by email, leave a comment on the site or call the podcast voicemail at 707-SACRED9 (707-722-7339). Also, remember to check out and follow ATS on Twitter and Facebook.
Hope you enjoy #36.
Cheers! Donny

Donny...
um...
you are awesome.
First time really listening to this podcast, as a huge (HUGE) Eddie Vedder fan I was surprised to actually find a few in here I haven't heard before, well done! Thoroughly enjoyed that 50 mins. Your pal from Australia.
The acoustic version of Yellow Ledbetter is my favorite song by Pearl Jam, even if Eddie was high as a kite when he wrote it.
I think if Eddie was high as a kite when he wrote it then +1 for getting high
